All portable carts are constructed with metal channels to mount 5" all locking Tente casters to base. This prevents the wheels from coming loose over time and adds stability to rolling cabinets. This is not found on most competitive products.
The construction of a drawer box may seem less than trivial. We think it is about time that you look at furniture differently. I guarantee after reading the brief explanation of benefits listed below, you will never look at furniture the same way as before. |
First, we use a 5-sided drawer box. That's right, 4 sides make up the box and the 5th side is the Drawer Front. If any damage is to occur to the drawer, it will be the Drawer Front. With Pro-Medical Innovations you can easily replace the Drawer Front.
Second, our Drawer Fronts have an industry unique Raised Panel design. A Raised Panel itself is not unique, however we have accomplished this look while still maintaining smooth edges throughout. By maintaining smooth edges, we have eliminated the "flat edge" which creates a place for dust to collect. This is another Pro-Medical Innovations exclusive.
Lastly, we use Institutional Grade, Stainless Steel Ball-Bearing, Full Extension Drawer Glides. This hardware is not found on the market leading competitors products. By allowing full extension you could view and reach the contents in the back of the drawer. Additionally, the drawer opens up smoothly and quietly without ever pulling out of the cart. (Don't try this with competitive products.) By the way, our Drawer Glides are rated to support 100 lbs. each.
We meticulously craft our products with rounded edges and smooth transitions throughout. We comply with the industry guidelines established by the Architectural Woodworker Institute (AWI) for custom millwork.
